Il numero di istituzioni non profit aumenta con tassi di crescita medi annui sostanzialmente costanti. La crescita si presenta percentualmente maggiore al Sud. Le istituzioni non profit che presentano un incremento pi\u00f9 elevato sono quelle attive nei settori della tutela dei diritti e attivit\u00e0 politica (+9,9% rispetto al 2017), dell\u2019assistenza sociale e protezione civile (+4,1%), della filantropia e promozione del volontariato (+3,9%) e delle relazioni sindacali e rappresentanza interessi (+3,7%).
